Vik Gavande, M.D., M.B.A.

Dr. Gavande is a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist. He completed his Radiation Oncology residency at Yale-New Haven University Hospital, in New Haven, Connecticut. He received his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Before entering the medical field, in June, 1996, Dr. Gavande obtained his Masters in Business Administration at INSEAD (l'Institut d'Administration des Affaires) in Fontainebleau, France. Dr. Gavande received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with Distinction from Yale University in New Haven. He was a National Merit Scholar.
At Yale, he was one of two students in his class to be awarded a Procter & Gamble Internship and helped work his way through college as general manager of the Yale Apparel Group. Between his undergraduate and MBA studies, he was employed for a year as an analyst at Mercer Management Consulting in Washington, D.C.
