- Standard service. We offer next business day delivery of current, dictated notes. These are records sent to us within three days of a patient's visit. We assign an account manager who will always be familiar with any templates or formats you require, and will remain your single point of contact for swift issue resolution. We offer a one week trial with this service to allow clients to give us a try, without risk. For more information, see No-Risk Trial.
- Overflow coverage. We understand how dynamic your office environment can be. Workflows spike and people go on vacation. Even if you're completely satisfied with your in-house transcription, you may need help from time to time. Our Overflow service allows you to stay current on patient records, worry free. We can set you up quickly and handle all of your overflow work-as much or as little as you need. This service is not eligible for our no-risk trial.
- Backlog service. From time to time, any office staff can find themselves in a backlog situation that needs to get fixed-fast. Perfect Transcription can immediately step in and bring your records current. We will assign an account manager, who will commit to a record delivery timeframe, based on the number and size of your records. While every situation is different, most clients can be caught up within about 48 hours. This service is not eligible for our no-risk trial.

What To Expect
Here's how we can deliver instant access to your patient medical records-straight to your desktop:
- Our professional staff will work to quickly set up your service and provide you with instruction. Physicians can begin normal dictation, often that same day!
- We can generally use your existing equipment and internet connection. Handheld recorders are extra.
- Dictation is done using a handheld recorder and/or a toll-free 1-800 number. Dictations can be sent from multiple locations.
- We provide end-to-end encryption of all voice and data files transmitted to strictly adhere to HIPAA requirements. For more information, see our HIPAA Statement.
- Perfect Transcription transcribes your information into a report, formatted per your specifications.
- The editor assigned to your account proofreads all reports, and makes any necessary changes.
- Reports are transmitted back to the physician's desktop, using state-of-the-art encryption technology to meet HIPAA requirements.
- Transcripts are permanently stored on your computer, sorted by physician, patient name, and date of visit. Transcripts can be easily imported into existing medical record software, or storage software we supply free of charge.
- We archive records for up to 90 days to provide you with added protection against data loss.
